President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received a phone call from the British National Security Advisor, Jonathan Powell, which addressed the security and military developments in Lebanon and the course of negotiations.
Powell affirmed to the President of the Republic the United Kingdom’s stance alongside Lebanon and its support for Lebanon’s political choices to preserve security and stability in the country.
