Chinese FM Wang Yi held talks with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and FM Prak Sokhonn in Phnom Penh.
In the face of a turbulent and changing international landscape and successive global challenges, it is timely for China and Cambodia to launch the “2+2” strategic dialogue mechanism between foreign and defense ministers. The first meeting of the mechanism was fruitful and yielded important consensus, effectively advancing strategic coordination and deepening strategic mutual trust between the two sides.
China stands ready to work with Cambodia to advance development and security in a coordinated manner and deepen all-round cooperation.
