– Speaking to reporters ahead of an election rally in Kansas City, Vance said that he is concerned with the Houthi takeover of Mayyun Island in the Strait of Mandeb.
– Vance also said the US has been in constant contact with the UAE, Saudi Arabia and “others who are affected in the region”.
