US President Donald Trump said Friday that he was about to make a “final” decision on a deal with Iran.
– “I will be meeting now, in the Situation Room, to make a final determination,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform, adding that Iran must agree never to have a nuclear weapon and to open the Strait of Hormuz.
– “No money will be exchanged, until further notice,” he added.
– Trump outlined what a potential deal could look like, including:
- US destruction of Iran’s highly enriched uranium
- Iranian pledge to never have a nuclear weapon or bomb
- Immediate reopening of Strait of Hormuz, removing any mines
- Lifting US blockade on Iran
