The UN humanitarian office (OCHA) has released its latest figures on conditions in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip:
- One-third of essential medicines are out of stock in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which also reported that more than 11,000 surgeries have been postponed so far this year.
- More than 1,000 Israeli settler attacks have caused casualties or property damage across more than 230 communities in the West Bank since the start of 2026. More than 2,200 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced as a result of the violence.
- More than 70 percent of Palestinians in Gaza rely on trucked water, “but funding gaps are putting this supply at risk”.
