Today the General Assembly considered the Security Council’s annual report – a vital instrument for transparency, accountability and cooperation between the GA and the Security Council. The report allows the GA to engage more meaningfully and contribute more effectively to collective efforts to uphold multilateralism and a peaceful international order.
