US President Donald Trump announced that his country was creating AI Force, similar to the Space Force he created in 2019.
– “I’m forming the AI Force, much like I did Space Force, which has been a tremendous success in my first term,” he wrote on Truth Social, adding that the head of the newly formed force will be announced soon.
– “AI is the next industrial revolution, or Internet, but will be even larger and more impactful, possibly as much as 25% of our country GDP. We are leading China and the rest of the world, and I intend to keep it that way,” Trump added.
– The president did not specify whether he meant creating a new branch of the US Armed Forces.
