Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and his UK counterpart, Ed Miliband, have discussed developments in the Middle East in a phone call, according to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
– In a statement, the ministry said Prince Faisal and Miliband reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest regional and international developments and their “repercussions on security and stability”.
– “The two sides also discussed the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions, enhance the security and safety of international waterways, and ensure freedom of navigation,” the statement said.
