In my view, the government must urgently hold a comprehensive press conference led by the Prime Minister and the responsible ministers to clearly brief the nation on trade deals and import related matters involving the United States, Russia, Venezuela, and Europe. With speculation and uncertainty growing, this is the right moment to dispel confusion and address, with transparency, the legitimate questions raised by the opposition, policy experts, observers, and journalists.
