Participation in the 13th EU–Central Asia High-Level Political and Security Dialogue
On 16 July 2026 in Brussels, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Idibek Kalandar, participated in the 13th EU–Central Asia High-Level Political and Security Dialogue.
During the meeting, the development of partnership between the European Union and Central Asia in the political, security and resilience fields was discussed, alongside the implementation of the agreements reached at the first EU–Central Asia Summit and the EU–Central Asia Joint Roadmap.
In the course of the Dialogue, the participants exchanged views on expanding cooperation in countering terrorism, preventing violent extremism and radicalisation, border management, drug trafficking, regional water cooperation and connectivity, as well as on key international and regional issues of mutual interest.
