In protest against the dehumanising and obscene remarks allegedly made by the Honourable Chief Justice of India against unemployed Indian youth, RTI activists, non profit media organisations, and their editors, describing them as “cockroaches” and “parasites”, Geo X Axis has decided to suspend all publication and broadcasting activities for a period of 24 hours.
The suspension will remain in effect from 16 May 2026, 9:30 AM to 17 May 2026, 9:30 AM.
This decision is being taken as a symbolic mark of protest in defence of independent media, editorial dignity, civil dignity, and freedom of expression.
