Qatar has reaffirmed its support for diplomatic efforts to secure freedom of maritime navigation and pave the way for a comprehensive agreement that brings lasting peace to the Middle East, according to its Foreign Ministry.
– Majed al-Ansari, adviser to the prime minister and Foreign Ministry spokesperson, made the remarks during a meeting with German State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Geza Andreas von Geyr, who is visiting Doha, the ministry said in a statement on X.
– The two discussed regional diplomacy and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions, as well as cooperation in the economy, investment, security and defence, the ministry added.
