The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Concludes the Meeting of Ambassadors of the State of Palestine to the European Continent and Expresses Its Appreciation to the Republic of Poland for Its Generous Hosting and Bearing the Costs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine has concluded the proceedings of the meeting of ambassadors of the State of Palestine accredited to the European continent, which was held in the Polish capital, Warsaw, expressing its utmost gratitude and appreciation to the Republic of Poland—its government and people—and to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its generous hosting of the meeting and for bearing the logistical and organizational costs of its proceedings, which contributed to providing the suitable conditions for its success and the achievement of its objectives.

The Ministry extends its sincere thanks to the Polish government and the relevant authorities for the excellent organization and reception, and for the support and facilitations provided, which reflected the depth of the friendly relations and mutual respect between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Poland, as well as its commitment to the success of this important diplomatic meeting.

The Ministry also highlights the important meetings held by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Riyad Al-Maliki, with a number of senior officials in the Republic of Poland on the sidelines of the meeting, as well as the joint press conference she held with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Radosław Sikorski, which affirmed the strength of the bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of continuing coordination and consultation regarding developments in the Palestinian cause.

The Ministry affirms that the Warsaw meeting constituted an important milestone in unifying the political and diplomatic vision of the embassies of the State of Palestine in Europe, enhancing coordination between the Ministry and its missions, and setting priorities and an action plan for the upcoming stage, in line with the objectives of Palestinian foreign policy during this difficult phase that our Palestinian people are going through, and to bolster international momentum aimed at garnering more recognitions of the State of Palestine and translating them into practical steps, as well as continuing to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes and violations of international law.
