President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrives in Mongolia for a state visit
At the invitation of the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Mongolia for a state visit on July 20-22, 2026.
President Emomali Rahmon was welcomed at the “Buyant-Ukhaa” airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Tajikistan G. Batjargal, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Mongolia Khairullo Ibodzoda.
This state visit comes 17 years after the state visit of the Head of State of the Republic of Tajikistan to our country in 2009.
The Presidents of the two countries will hold official talks and exchange views on expanding and developing relations and cooperation, as well as cooperation in the region and international arenas.
During the visit, intergovernmental and inter-governmental documents related to expanding and developing cooperation in sectors such as trade, economy, education, sports, geology, minerals, environment, and industry will be signed.
The heads of state intend to implement joint projects and programs in coordination with the “Third Tree” national movement and Tajikistan’s “National Green Development Program-2040” program, and contribute to global efforts to combat climate change, desertification, and protect the environment.
