The OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Christoph Heiss, was received and met.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on Mongolia-OSCE relations and cooperation, including the policies and plans pursued by the Government of Mongolia to protect the rights of national minorities and ensure their effective participation in social and economic spheres, as well as on collaboration with the Office of the High Commissioner in implementing these directions.
Additionally, the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, to be held in Ulaanbaatar in August of this year.
