INDIAN EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER DR. SUBRAHMANYAM JAISHANKAR TO VISIT MONGOLIA

At the invitation of Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg, India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar will pay an official visit to Mongolia on 22–23 June 2026.

During the visit, Foreign Minister B. Battsetseg and External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar are scheduled to hold official talks and exchange views on expanding the Mongolia India Strategic Partnership, enhancing bilateral cooperation, and discussing a broad range of regional and international issues.

The two countries established diplomatic relations on 24 December 1955 and exchanged ambassadors in 1956. Mongolia opened its embassy in New Delhi in 1956, while India opened its embassy in Ulaanbaatar in 1971.
