Received and met with Atte Kaleva, Deputy Chairman of the Finland-Mongolia Parliamentary Group in the Parliament of Finland (Eduskunta), and Member of Parliament Timo Harakka.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views in detail on the traditional friendly relations between Mongolia and Finland and on expanding cooperation. In particular, they emphasized the importance of intensifying cooperation in the fields of economy, education, forestry, green development, and innovation, and increasing practical projects and programs that support mutually beneficial and sustainable development.

In recent years, high-level and senior-level visits and negotiations between the two countries have been actively progressing, which is creating real opportunities to elevate relations and cooperation to a new stage. They noted this and expressed their commitment to closely collaborate to maintain and strengthen this positive trend.

They highlighted the successful operations of Finnish companies such as “Honka,” “Metso,” and “EduTen” in Mongolia in the sectors of construction, mining, and education, and exchanged views on expanding business cooperation based on these practical examples, organizing a joint business forum in Finland, and activating cultural and artistic exchanges.
