I had a productive meeting with the President of Panama, Jose Raul Mulino. In less than two years, this is the 6th time we have met. This is a sign of our commitment to deepening economic ties and cooperation between our peoples.
Panama is Brazil’s main trading partner in Central America. In 2025, we had a 78% growth in bilateral exchange, and we can reach much higher levels.
Returning to Brasília inspired by the warm welcome of the Panamanian people and by the concrete advances we achieved in our bilateral relationship. I also leave with renewed certainty that Latin America and the Caribbean are capable of building an autonomous project of international insertion. Together, we can drive a new cycle of prosperity for 660 million Latin Americans and Caribbeans.
