In Manila today, I visited the Philippine Coast Guard Headquarters and discussed regional security challenges, maritime security& the importance of upholding international law.
Lithuania stands firmly for freedom of navigation, respect for UNCLOS, and the peaceful resolution of disputes. Security in the Indo-Pacific and Europe is increasingly interconnected, making cooperation among like-minded partners more important than ever.
We highly value the Philippines’ efforts to strengthen maritime security and look forward to closer cooperation on resilience, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, and addressing hybrid threats.
