Against the backdrop of increasing instability and uncertainty in the current international situation, maintaining candid and smooth dialogue and communication between China and the United States, and actively safeguarding a stable and healthy bilateral relationship, is not only of great significance to both countries but will also inject certainty and positive energy into the cause of global peace and development. China is willing to work with the United States to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strive for more positive outcomes, achieve mutual success and promote common prosperity, and better benefit the people of both countries and the world.
Li Qiang pointed out that in today’s turbulent world, stability is all the more precious and requires our joint efforts to safeguard. A stable and predictable China-US economic and trade relationship is in the interests of both countries and the world. China-US economic and trade cooperation is substantial, with extensive market and industrial connections. Strengthening cooperation will not only promote mutual benefit and win-win results but also contribute to global economic growth. As the world’s two largest economies, China and the US should meet each other halfway, take the lead in promoting open cooperation, properly handle and manage differences, safeguard bilateral economic and trade relations, and act as a stabilizing and constructive force globally. A stable and developing Chinese economy will provide more opportunities for companies from all countries, including US-funded enterprises. We are currently implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan. The scale, growth potential, and stability of the Chinese market are very evident. New demands are being released rapidly, new driving forces are constantly expanding, and the economy continues to grow steadily. We welcome more foreign companies to come to China to explore the market and share opportunities. A stable and open policy environment is a long-term and unwavering commitment of the Chinese government. We will continue to expand high-level opening up, provide excellent services to foreign-invested enterprises as always, continuously improve and refine various policies, enhance administrative efficiency, fully listen to opinions and demands, and actively help solve problems so that enterprises can plan for the future with peace of mind and focus on their own development.
Li Qiang stated that a stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China-US relations requires concerted efforts from all sectors of both countries. He expressed hope that more American companies will continue to deepen their presence in the Chinese market, further strengthening the bonds of win-win cooperation between China and the US, while also serving as a bridge for communication and dialogue between the two countries, encouraging all sectors in the US to view China’s development more objectively and rationally, and promoting mutual trust and friendship between China and the US.
