This morning, Ukrainians are waking to the aftermath of another night of Russian terror. Having failed to break our nation on the battlefield, Russia once again turns its weapons against our civilian population.
During the night, the enemy launched more than 40 missiles of various types and 120 attack drones across several regions, directing one of the largest ballistic assaults of the full-scale war against Kyiv.
As of this morning, one person has been killed in Kyiv, while 16 others have been injured. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim.
Nearly 600 rescuers, medics, police officers, and emergency personnel continue working at the impact sites in Kyiv, while response efforts are also underway in the Odesa region.
Every such attack is a reminder that Russia’s strategy has been reduced to terror against civilians. Ukraine will endure, but protecting innocent lives requires sustained international support and stronger air defenses to stop these attacks before they reach our cities.
