During talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev outlined the volume of Kazakh investment and priority areas of cooperation.
– Negotiations between the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Russia took place in Astana, during which key issues of economic cooperation were discussed.
– Ermek Kosherbaev reported on the significant level of investment cooperation between the two countries.
– He also said that Kazakhstani investments in the Russian economy amounted to $9 billion.
– During negotiations with Sergei Lavrov, he also outlined priority areas for further cooperation.
– “Promising areas include energy, transport and logistics, digital solutions, artificial intelligence, ecology, climate, and the rational use of water resources,” noted the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
– Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further expanding bilateral economic cooperation and implementing joint projects.
