Jordan’s King Abdullah II has stressed the need for a comprehensive regional de-escalation agreement during a phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
– The two sides discussed efforts to reduce regional tensions and ways to build on the strategic partnership between Jordan and the US in various fields, according to a statement by Jordan’s Royal Hashemite Court.
– Abdullah emphasised the need for a comprehensive de-escalation agreement that would safeguard the security and sovereignty of Arab states.
