Foreign Minister Motegi, who is visiting Türkiye, held a Japan-U.S.-ROK Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Japan-U.S.-ROK cooperation regarding Small Modular Reactor (SMR) cooperation at the meeting. The three parties welcomed concrete progress in cooperation across a wide range of areas, including responses to North Korea, cooperation in security fields, and cooperation in economic security fields, and confirmed their commitment to further broadening the base of Japan-U.S.-ROK cooperation through action-oriented discussions.
