Precisely in such challenging times, it is important to remember that we are not destined only to fight together—we are also destined to live together.
Today, at a moving ceremony at Beit HaNasi, we awarded the 2026 Jerusalem Prize for the Unity of Israel in memory of the three boys—a prize that seeks to preserve that same spirit of unity and mutual responsibility that was etched into all of us 12 years ago, when the people of Israel united around the search for Eyal, Gilad, and Naftali, z”l.
The winners of the prize are the proof that our shared life here is built every day through listening, mutual respect, partnership, and shared responsibility. They work to connect communities, sectors, and different worlds, and prove that even amid disagreements, it is possible to choose unity.
