Iran’s parliament will hold a virtual session on Sunday to review bills to counter foreign influence and oversee the Strait of Hormuz, state media IRIB reported.

– Lawmakers will consider a “Smart Management Plan” for the strategic waterway and a bill aimed at combating international crimes.

– The session follows talks with Oman on a “shipping route map for the Strait of Hormuz” under an Iran-US agreement.

– However, Tehran says reopening the waterway remains conditional on the United States fulfilling its obligations.
