Iran will immediately reciprocate if the US fulfils its commitments under an interim deal signed in June, President Masoud Pezeshkian says.
– He made the comments at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the ISNA news agency reported.
– The June 17 MoU between the US and Iran expired on August 17.
– The MoU was supposed to facilitate peace negotiations and included provisions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which has become a major flashpoint in the war.
