Senior Hamas official Abdul Rahman Shadid has called for widespread mobilisation across the occupied West Bank to confront escalating pogroms against Palestinians and their property, according to a statement on Telegram.
– Shadid said settler assaults had surged with the start of the olive harvest season, describing them as part of an Israeli campaign of ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, their land and holy sites.
– He urged support for farmers facing settler pogroms under the protection of Israeli forces and called for resistance using all available means to deter further assaults.
– Palestinians would remain committed to their land and holy sites and would not surrender in the face of escalating aggression, he added.
