Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Sekreta for the “Berliner Zeitung”: As for the concerns of Poland and the Baltic states, the question itself seems strange. Belarus is not expanding its weapons arsenals – Poland is doing that. Belarus is not increasing its defense budget many times over – Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia are doing that. In 2025, the total military spending of these three states amounted to over 52 billion euros. That is 25 times (!) more than the funds that Belarus provides for defense purposes.
