Europe has to keep up with its global competitors. It was good to exchange with like-minded partners on competitiveness today ahead of the #EUCO next week.
We need affordable energy and a better EU market design. We need to end unjustified territorial supply constraints. And we need to significantly reduce the regulatory burden in the EU. Austria’s proposal for a European Implementation and Consolidation Year would give us exactly time to take stock of existing legislation and make it work. 14 Member States already support it.
