In the framework of President Javier Milei’s visit to Ecuador, we have signed a series of bilateral instruments with Ecuadorian government authorities:
🚗 Automotive Sector Trade Agreement: Argentine cars, trucks, and auto parts will enter Ecuador with 0% and 10% tariffs.
✈️ Air Services Agreement: more flights, greater connectivity, and better conditions for tourism and business.
🤝 Memorandum of Understanding for the creation of a Consultation Mechanism on Trade and Investment matters: a permanent channel to remove obstacles for our companies and open new investment opportunities.
🚨 Extradition Treaty: modernizes a key regime for criminal cooperation.
💻 Cybersecurity Cooperation Agreement: exchange of information and intelligence to jointly address cyber threats.
☢️ Agreement on Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy: for nuclear medicine, radioisotopes, and reactors, with a guarantee of exclusively peaceful use.
🐟 Binational Declaration to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing: shared information and traceability to protect our marine resources.
🇦🇷🤝🇪🇨 Argentina and Ecuador, two countries that chose the same path: freedom, openness, and joint work.
