Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand discussed, in a phone call on Monday, regional developments, including the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement recently signed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye.
– The Pakistani minister briefed the Canadian minister on the essence of the agreement, emphasizing the three countries’ shared determination to contribute to strengthening peace, stability and security in the region.
– The two ministers also exchanged views on developments in the context of relations between the United States and Iran.
