France Adjusts West Asia Naval Deployment Following US - Iran Maritime Agreement

France has announced a partial adjustment of its military deployment in West Asia following the signing of the 17 June memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran

France will maintain its mine countermeasure assets, including two minehunters, supported by two frigates and a maritime patrol aircraft.
