Qatar’s Foreign Ministry says Qatar and Iran have discussed an agreement to implement a “joint project” to clear mines from the Strait of Hormuz.

– During the meeting of foreign ministers from Iran and Qatar in Tehran today, “the latest developments in the regional situation were reviewed, along with the efforts being made to reduce escalation and create appropriate conditions for dialogue, contributing to the enhancement of regional security and stability,” Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
