I had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, who inquired about my health progress.
I appreciated his prayers, as well as the flowers and fruits sent, and informed him that I am now in the recovery process.
We exchanged views on current developments in this region and agreed that all tensions must be handled carefully through dialogue and diplomacy to preserve regional peace and stability.
We also discussed developments in Iran–United States relations and emphasized the importance of continued engagement to ease tensions. The Strait of Hormuz must remain open and safe to ensure the smooth flow of international trade.
Regarding bilateral relations, we agreed to intensify trade and economic cooperation, which still holds great potential to be explored, including expanding Pakistan’s meat exports to Malaysia.
All commitments reached should be promptly translated into tangible outcomes that benefit both countries. Malaysia will continue to support Pakistan as a friendly nation and important partner, insya-Allah.
