Majed al-Ansari, the country’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, says negotiations between Oman and Iran have reached an advanced stage.
– The negotiations are at a critical juncture, he said, adding that Doha supports all efforts for de-escalation in the region.
– “As mediators, we want the Strait of Hormuz reopened as soon as possible,” the official added.
