Prime Minister Russell Dlamini has held bilateral talks with President Lai Ching-te of the Republic of China (Taiwan) at the Presidential Office in Taipei, where the two leaders reaffirmed the strong and enduring partnership between the Kingdom of Eswatini and Taiwan.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest & explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation in key sectors, including trade & investment, innovation, digital transformation, healthcare, education, agriculture, renewable energy & others.
The Prime Minister also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from His Majesty King Mswati III, Her Majesty the Queen Mother, the Government, and the people of the Kingdom of Eswatini to President Lai Ching-te and the people of Taiwan.
Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening the longstanding diplomatic relations between Eswatini and Taiwan.
