Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar addressed an interactive session at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today with the visiting U.S. Congressional Delegation (CODEL), comprising Rep. Ryan Zinke and Rep. Michael Baumgartner, along with a 33-member U.S. Business Delegation.
Welcoming the delegation, DPM/FM highlighted the positive momentum in Pakistan-U.S. relations under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Donald Trump. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations through sustained parliamentary engagement, expanded economic cooperation, and stronger people-to-people ties.
DPM/FM underscored the immense potential for enhancing trade, investment, innovation, and collaboration across the technology, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, mines and minerals, and other sectors of mutual interest.
Inviting American businesses to invest in Pakistan, DPM/FM reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to facilitating investment, advancing economic reforms, and fostering long-term partnerships that promote shared growth and prosperity.
