FM George Gerapetritis met today with #Vietnam FM Le Hoai Trung.
Discussions focused on expanding economic and trade cooperation, with particular emphasis on shipping, tourism, transport, energy security and people-to-people exchanges.
The two FMs reaffirmed their commitment to international law & #UNCLOS. They underscored the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation, maritime security and the safety of seafarers.
They agreed to enhance coordination within the UN in addressing regional and global challenges, also in view of Greece’s upcoming Presidency of the UN Security Council in October.
