Just had a pleasant conversation with President Aliyev of Azerbaijan. We agreed to further deepen the political and economic cooperation between our countries. We reflected on the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
I expressed appreciation for Azerbaijan’s contribution to regional peace and stability. Finally, I thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance to the Dutch embassy team in Iran, which has been unable to work from Tehran over the past few months.
