World record 32 times Mount Everest climb.
Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, is not merely a geographical elevation; it is the supreme symbol of Nepal’s self-respect, courage, patience, and Himalayan civilization. On this glorious mountain today, Nepali climbers have once again written history.
The world-renowned climber Kami Rita Sherpa has renewed his own world record for the most ascents by successfully summiting Mount Everest for the 32nd time at 10:12 a.m. this morning.
Similarly, Lakpa Sherpa, known as the “Mountain Queen,” has set the world record for the most ascents by a female climber by reaching the summit of Mount Everest for the 11th time at 9:30 a.m. today.
Such historic success can only be achieved through unwavering courage, rigorous self-discipline, and honest dedication to one’s work.
Sharing this moment of joy with everyone, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to both climbers.
The contribution of the Sherpa community to Nepal’s mountaineering history is extraordinary and unparalleled. The Sherpas, who revere the mountains as gods, embrace risk as responsibility, and safely guide climbers from around the world to the summit, are truly the unsung heroes of the Himalayas. Without their courage, knowledge, and labor, the glory of the mountains remains incomplete.
I am confident that this supreme achievement of theirs will make Nepal’s mountain tourism even more credible, prestigious, and attractive, while further illuminating Nepal’s identity on the global stage.
On behalf of all Nepalis, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and highest respect to Kami Rita Sherpa, Lakpa Sherpa, all climbers, the entire Sherpa community, and everyone dedicated to the field of mountaineering.
