Foreign Minister Motegi held talks with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, confirming the promotion of economic cooperation, the implementation of the Japan-U.S. agreement on tariffs, and exchanging views on regional situations in the Indo-Pacific, including China. The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation on enhancing the resilience of supply chains, including critical minerals.
