Today, I received the Brilliant Jade Medal from the hands of President Lai Ching-te, the highest state-level distinction awarded by the Government of Taiwan.
I accept it with deep gratitude and humility, understanding it as a recognition of the friendship between our two countries and the values that unite us. It is an honor that I carry on behalf of Paraguay and a friendship that we continue to build together.
