I thank my friend H.E. President Anura Kumara Disanayaka for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to me and my delegation, from the moment we touched down in Sri Lanka on my State Visit. We held highly productive official talks today, reaffirming our close neighbourly ties and agreed to elevate Maldives – Sri Lanka cooperation across trade and investment, education, youth, health, fisheries, security, and climate action. Our focus now is on delivering real benefits for our people.
