Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs G. Amartuvshin received members of the Japan–Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the House of Representatives of Japan on April 30, 2026.
Deputy Minister G. Amartuvshin noted the commitment to deepen the Special Strategic Partnership between the two countries, which share common democratic values, and to expand mutual visits and exchanges.
The Japanese side expressed its aspiration to strengthen the trusted relations between Mongolia and Japan, advance economic cooperation, and further develop people-to-people friendship and goodwill.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to further deepen their close partnership, friendship, and goodwill in 2027, marking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
