The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan summoned the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul.
In response to the Pakistani military’s attacks on Afghanistan’s Nangarhar and Paktika provinces, in which dozens of civilians were killed and injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan summoned the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul and presented Afghanistan’s protest note.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace by the Pakistani army and the bombing of civilians, and considers it a flagrant violation of Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and a provocative act.
Furthermore, it was made clear to the Pakistani side that safeguarding Afghanistan’s borders is the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s religious responsibility, and that the responsibility for the adverse consequences of such attacks lies with the opposing party.
