Respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund: Countries should respect one another’s values and sanctities
The Economic Deputy of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, today participated in the graduation ceremony of the 17th cohort of the Hazrat Mu’adh ibn Jabal (رض) National Military Academy, affiliated with the command of the Hazrat Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah (رض) National Defense University.
The Economic Deputy congratulated the graduates for receiving education during the academy’s training period not only in professional studies but also on the importance of national defense, national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political sovereignty. He urged them to put this spirit and learning into practice for the preservation of Islamic and lofty Afghan values, and to firmly defend the Islamic system and every inch of the land.
Respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar also emphasized rectifying intentions, adopting piety, and caring for the well-being of fellow citizens.
The respected Mullah stated that the Islamic Emirate believes in regional and international cooperation within the framework of an economy-centered policy and is committed to engaging with every country within the framework of its principles.
He stressed that in order to safeguard long-term political and economic interests, it is necessary for countries to respect one another’s values and sanctities.
Respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund gave good news to investors that in the coming days, the Islamic Emirate will announce full tax exemptions ranging from one to five years for domestic and foreign investors, depending on the scale of investment in new sectors.
He added that this will, on the one hand, lead to the development of new sectors and, on the other hand, have a significant impact on the country’s economic growth and self-sufficiency. The respected Mullah further added that serious instructions have been given to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to accelerate the process of land distribution for small, medium, and large industries and to provide them with the necessary facilities.
The Economic Deputy of the Office of the Prime Minister also stated that the Islamic Emirate and today’s Afghanistan have built their policies on institutions whose foundation is Islamic Sharia.
He added: “Afghanistan neither wants to harm anyone nor accepts harm from anyone. But if someone harbors malicious intentions toward it, then it does not leave its debt unpaid to anyone. History bears witness that this country is not a soft morsel, but a tree of Zaqqum; it has choked the throats of long-lived empires, so newborn children will never be able to digest it.”
In conclusion, the respected Mullah called on all countries to seek engagement with Afghanistan within the framework of the Islamic Emirate’s values and principles, and said that the energy and resources wasted in undermining one another would be better spent on supporting one another and strengthening common points.
