US President Donald Trump said Thursday that the United States would “have Iran finished very soon,” suggesting the possibility that an end to the conflict was approaching.
– “We’re gonna have Iran finished very soon, one way or the other,” Trump told supporters at a rally in Iowa. “It’s almost insignificant to me which way.”
– Trump made the remarks while discussing oil and gasoline prices, which have risen amid the conflict.
– “It’s going to be done very soon, and your gasoline prices and your oil is going to come tumbling down,” he said.
– The Trump administration has faced mounting pressure over the cost of living, with higher energy prices adding to inflation concerns.
– Trump has repeatedly pledged that oil and gasoline prices will fall once the war with Iran ends, although it remains unclear when the conflict will come to an end.
