Somalia has condemned an Israeli map depicting its territory as fragmented, reaffirming its sovereignty, unity and internationally recognised borders.
– Somalia’s Information Ministry said in a statement that the map presented during a recent press briefing by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which depicted Somalia as fragmented, was “misleading” and “violates our internationally recognised borders.”
– Mogadishu reaffirmed its “unwavering” commitment to its national sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity as “enshrined in the Constitution of Somalia, the Charter of the United Nations, and the Constitutive Act of the African Union.”
