Russia ready to listen to US proposals, rules out political concessions — Lavrov
– Moscow will see what US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner propose but will not make any political concessions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
– “Basically, American presidential history is marked by what has already become a political tradition and a method accepted by everyone: a new president is not bound by any decisions made by his predecessor. That’s it. Such an option exists, and it’s a strong one. It will be used to bargain with us and to allow US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to continue traveling here under Donald Trump and try to organize something for us,” Lavrov noted at a meeting with university graduates accepted into the diplomatic service for the first time.
